Every now and then, you meet someone who is born to do what they choose as a career. Joel is that guy! We used Joel to sell our home in Etobicoke and to buy our new home last December. Joel put in the time and effort to find us exactly what we were looking for-- a "unicorn" home in a very unpredictable real estate market. He was patient and persevered even when market conditions made us want to give up. Joel always (and I mean ALWAYS) showed up with a positive attitude, detailed information about the listing, as well as the neighbourhood (including good places to eat, shop, hidden gems), comparables, and market value. He took the time to answer all of our questions, providing objective data on price points, bidding wars, how long the listings typically stay on the market, and a ton of information on market factors impacting selling and buying. Joel is not hyper-focused on a "quick sale" like some other agents. He wants a happy client, and he takes the time needed to get to know you, to meet your specific needs. He also knows the Etobicoke market inside out and always gives us his honest assessment on each listing. On the selling side, he staged our place, which resulted in a quick sale in December, a traditionally sluggish time of the year due to holidays. Friends who saw our listing were blown away by how good it looked in the photos and videos. He also went the extra mile and provided services that many other agents often don't, but should, like referring us to a reputable moving company and having a professional do photos and videos of our house, which helped it stand out. Joel also built in many seller-friendly terms in the APS, which made the closing process more manageable for us.
